i don't usually just do "flashback friday" music posts - it's been a crazy two weeks and i haven't been on here as much as i would've like to. nevertheless, it is what it is, and it's another friday - thus, a flashback friday entry. enjoy

originally this track was done by JOY DIVISION, which is a bit darker and moodier (thanks to Ian Curtis) than the later (revamped band) version done by NEW ORDER... a true classic either way.

it's been a rough week - nasty stomach bug, deadline after deadline, missed appointment and meetings - but it's good knowing that this one will soon be winding down.

we'll see what next week brings other than i'll be heading to philadelphia on a whirlwind busy-ness trip.

this one's only about 5 or 6 years old, but it still chokes me up just as much now as it did back when it first debuted... and the upcoming fall season that we just got a taste of here in colorado fits perfectly with the vibe of it all.
