Changing out the
drawer pulls can add an interesting detail that can play up the "wow factor" of repurposed drawers on your wall.
Paint the inside of the drawer a bold color or leave the raw wood for a more organic feel.
Rotate your vintage finds, display a vase of full of flowers or showcase your collection of vintage cameras--the options are endless.
Living in Echo Park, we see discarded dressers and desks all the time. If you're not lucky enough to happen upon a discarded drawer, hit up your local thrift store or flea market for these inexpensive finds.
Play around with alternating drawer sizes. A long rectangular drawer would be really neat in a smaller space (acting as a shelf to store your items). Or create a wall of repurposed drawers--just make it your own!
And not that we think
displaying empty frames has gone out of style--
but displaying repurposed drawers might be the new trend popping up in homes.
