manoteca indoor table desk

i swear i drooled a little when i happened upon this MANOTECA indoor desk table.

it's actually a vintage door transformed into a table/workstation. the door itself is mounted onto a steel frame and hinged on one side. the bottom-side has added rawhide pockets to store tools/papers/equipment when opened. this hand-made, one of a kind table sells for 3800 euros.

flashback friday

i don't usually just do "flashback friday" music posts - it's been a crazy two weeks and i haven't been on here as much as i would've like to. nevertheless, it is what it is, and it's another friday - thus, a flashback friday entry. enjoy

originally this track was done by JOY DIVISION, which is a bit darker and moodier (thanks to Ian Curtis) than the later (revamped band) version done by NEW ORDER... a true classic either way.

it's been a rough week - nasty stomach bug, deadline after deadline, missed appointment and meetings - but it's good knowing that this one will soon be winding down.

we'll see what next week brings other than i'll be heading to philadelphia on a whirlwind busy-ness trip.
